How Our Online Auctions Work For Buyers- At Atomic Starburst Auctions and Estate Sales, we make online bidding simple, secure, and convenient. Here’s how you can participate in our online auctions:

1. Browse Available Auctions – Visit our auction platform to explore current listings, complete with detailed descriptions and photos of each item.

2. Register to Bid – To place a bid, create an account and register for the auction. This ensures a secure bidding experience.

3. Place Your Bids – Once registered, you can place bids on items of interest. Our system will notify you if you’re outbid, allowing you to adjust your offer.

4. Proxy Bid - This auction platform provides a proxy bid. A proxy bid is a way to place your max bid without having to watch the auction. Your max bid is not visible to anyone and will only increase if someone else places a bid on that item. Your max bid will only be reached if someone meets or exceeds the bid amount. You simply place the proxy bid in the bid box, for example, if you place a $100 proxy bid and that item starts at $5.00 your bid will still be at $5.00. If someone comes in and places a $10.00 bid on that item it will increase your bid to $11.00. Your proxy bid only increases depending on the bidders bidding against you.
5. Extension and Close of Internet Bidding — At the scheduled date and online sale closing period of a sale, items will begin to close at a predetermined number of items per minute. All online sales may be subject to our automatic extension system defined as follows: if an item receives a bid with less than two (2) minutes remaining until closing, the close time will be reset to two (2) minutes from the time the bid is placed and will continue to reset to two (2) minutes with each newly placed bid. The item will not close until two (2) minutes have elapsed with no additional bid activity.

6. Winning an Item – Once the item closes, the highest bidder wins the item. You’ll receive an email confirmation with payment instructions.

7. Secure Payment – Complete your purchase using our secure online payment system.

8. Item Pickup or Delivery – After payment, we’ll provide pickup details or arrange shipping based on the auction terms.
